Nutrition Capsules

The Tropica Nutrition Capsules are used to supply additional nutrients via the roots of the plants. Fast-growing plants, large solitary plants and plants with strong root networks can be supplied with targeted nutrients. To do this, simply place the capsules in the substrate close to the roots of the plant using tweezers.

• The nutrients are slowly released to the plants as needed
• Nutrition Capsules are ideal for stem plants, Cryptocoryne, Echinodorus, Vallisneria etc. – any plants with a strong root network

Nitrogen, phosphorus, iron and manganese as well as all important micronutrients are released over the course of one to two months. The capsules do not completely decompose. The small beads from the capsules therefore remain in the substrate after all the nutrients have been released. The beads are made of a resin that is completely harmless to animals and plants.
