Specialised Nutrition

Tropica Specialised Nutrition contains nitrogen and phosphorus and is therefore ideal for fast-growing plants with high nutrient requirements. It is easy and precise to dose with the included pump. It also contains iron, manganese and important micronutrients for healthy and colorful plants.

Application

Specialised Nutrition is added every week in conjunction with water changes. The individual dosage of the pump dispenser is 2 ml. We recommend 6 ml (pump 3 times) to 50 l of water, but advise taking the plants’ needs into account. In addition to micronutrients, Specialised Nutrition also contains all the necessary macronutrients. The fertilizer should be used especially if the entire plant is deficient in nutrients. However, it should be noted that if algae growth has already begun, the addition of Specialised Nutrition will increase the rate of algae growth.

Since Specialised Nutrition contains nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P), the dosage must be adjusted to the absorption capacity of the plants in order to avoid unwanted algae growth in the water. If there are signs of algae growth, reduce the dose by 50% and change the water more frequently than usual, for example up to 50% weekly. Water replacement is intended not only to reduce the nutrient content in the water, but also to help remove algae spores, residues and other elements that have accumulated in the aquarium water.
