Product description & details

Shrimp Snacks are the tasty treat for your shrimp, crayfish, or snails.

The natural ingredients in different flavors release their own aromas, instantly grabbing the attention of your aquatic creatures and stimulating their appetite. Shrimp Snacks offer vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and more, making them a perfect supplement to your pet’s main diet.

Once on the substrate, the sticks break down relatively quickly, ensuring that every animal, especially smaller juveniles, gets a share without any feeding stress. The abundance of beneficial nutrients makes Shrimp Snacks a valuable in-between meal for your aquarium inhabitants.

Mulberry leaves are particularly tasty and rich in natural vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C), calcium, magnesium, potassium, carotenoids, iron, amino acids, and antioxidants.

The Artemia snack can also be used as a complete food, as its combination of animal and plant ingredients provides all the necessary nutrients and fully meets dietary needs. These sticks are an excellent protein source.

Dandelion leaves, like nettle and birch leaves, are highly sought after by shrimp and other creatures. Bitter compounds, vitamins, minerals, inulin, glycosides, triterpenoids, choline, and potassium make them a beneficial snack.

The dried nettle and walnut leaves in Shrimp Snacks Leaves Mix are cut into small pieces and homogeneously mixed before processing into sticks, ensuring each stick contains both types of leaves.

Since an aquarium is a small, self-contained biological system and too much food can put a lot of strain on the water, you should only feed as much as will be eaten in a short period of time. The more polluting the feed, the shorter this time should be. Live and frozen food as well as most (protein-rich) fish foods should be eaten within a few minutes, food sticks for shrimp and crabs in about 2-3 hours.

If you happen to get too much food, the leftover food should be removed from the aquarium after 24 hours at the latest.

Exceptions are of course the permanent food varieties, which are designed for long-term feeding. This includes holiday and weekend food, but also mineral stones or brown leaves like catappa, walnut or oak leaves.
