Chlorella is a high-quality supplementary feed and rearing feed for shrimp, crayfish and various types of fish and snails.

• Chlorella vulgaris is a very small (5-10 µm) spherical freshwater green alga with a thin membrane.
• During processing, the natural cellulose and fiber components are retained and contribute to the animals’ high-fiber diet.
• The algae contains large amounts of chlorophyll and carotenoids, complete vegetable protein with all essential amino acids, valuable fatty acids and important vitamins and minerals.

Recommended applications:

1) Wet a slab of slate or wood and sprinkle the Chlorella powder on it. When the resulting algae paste has dried, add the slabs of slate or wood to the aquarium. With this method you create an optimal feeding place for shrimp, algae-eating snails such as nerite snails and horned nerite snails, as well as for herbivorous and limnivorous fish.

2) For baby shrimp, mix a little powder with water and use a dosing syringe to distribute the mixture throughout the aquarium. This way, even the little ones get something out of it.

3) Ideal for making your own food such as shrimp sticks with vegetables (peas, carrots, zucchini, nettles, Hokkaido pumpkin, etc…)
