The striped beauties among the dwarf shrimp: the Tiger shrimp
Caridina mariae, Tiger shrimp, are exceptional and pretty dwarf shrimp for advanced shrimp keepers.
Most of the time, tap water is not particularly suitable. Even in summer the water should not exceed 25 °C.
Tiger shrimp can breed with most Caridina species: Bees, Taiwan Bee and some wild shrimp species.
Without exception, we breed our tiger shrimp ourselves on neutral substrate.
Our water for tiger shrimp consists of salted osmosis water with GH: 8, KH: 2-3 and 300 µs.
