The adhesive film “Black” is a deep black adhesive film for attaching to the back wall of the aquarium. A black aquarium background is a classic for a reason: it forms a strong contrast to the plants and inhabitants in the aquarium, which is why their colors appear particularly intense. Additionally, shy fish species in particular feel more comfortable and safer with a dark background.
Applying the film is very easy, but should be done carefully: Peel off the paper that protects the adhesive side at one corner of the film and attach the film to the glass. Slowly peel away the paper while smoothing the foil. Stroke in the direction of the peeled paper and from the inside towards the edges to avoid air pockets. Any excess film sides can then easily be cut off with a Stanley knife.
