Product description & details
Our nettle herb is a natural product from Carinthia, collected far away from industry and car traffic.
Stinging nettles have long been one of the most popular foods among shrimp keepers. The reasons for this are obvious: nettles are very healthy, they contain important vitamins (A, B, C, E), and are rich in amino acids, iron, potassium, calcium, carotenoids and silica. They only contain 5% protein, which provides some relief for the animals given the many protein-rich feeds.
Shrimp acceptance is excellent; there are not many foods that trigger a similar “battle for the buffet”.
Since the leaves do not sink immediately, we recommend scalding them briefly before feeding them.
Use: only add as much to the aquarium as will be eaten within 1-2 hours. Remove any residue afterwards so as not to pollute the water too much.
