Great for beginners: the Babaulti shrimp
Dwarf shrimp of the genus Babaulti are, along with the Neocaridina species, among the shrimp species suitable for beginners.
Tap water is best suited in most cases, as long as the animals are slowly acclimated to the new water conditions.
Although the shrimp can tolerate colder temperatures, the species appreciates at least 23°C or more.
The good thing is that you can keep Neocaridina and Babaulti species in the same tank without hesitation, because cross-breeding them is not possible.
We breed our Babaulti shrimp exclusively on neutral substrate with a GH: 8, KH: 2-3 and around 300 µs.
