In nature, many of our aquarium fish, amphibians and invertebrates feed on small insects and their larvae as well as other small aquatic animals. Giving live and frozen food represents a very natural and optimal diet for these species.
Artemia are ideal for feeding small to medium-sized aquarium animals. Since they sink slowly, they are popular with animals in all aquarium areas. The up to 1.2cm large Artemia, which are also called brine shrimp or sea monkeys, have a high protein content and only a low fat content, which is why they can be fed more often. They are ideal for small to medium-sized fish, crabs and amphibians such as axolotls or newts.
The frozen Artemia from the “Golden Gate” line come from sustainable aqua culture and are additionally enriched with nutrients – for completely healthy aquarium animals.
In order not to interrupt the cold chain, we can only offer frozen food directly in the store or deliver it via “Vienna Delivery”.
